How much do services cost?Price point of services will vary based on your needs. To receive a quote, we will need to schedule an initial (free) consultation meeting. During this meeting we will get an understanding of: What services you’re looking for How fast you’d like your service completed How much time will be spent to fulfil your needs Pricing is based on: More services requested will equivalate to a higher overall quote, however we do offer deals for bundling services and working with us across several departments Services that need an expedited due date will require a small additional fee beyond our standard rates - standard turnaround times for each services is listed in their appropriate section below. More time/hours dedicated to your service will equivalate to higher overall quote; i.e. more lessons = higher payment, longer hours spent recording a song = higher payment. The Sounds By Lio promise - Our pricing will always beat the industry standard! Also, the more services you include into your purchase, the lower your total payment will be as we offer bundled-package discounts. Sounds By Lio will match or beat any competitor quote if a client provides proof of our competitors work that shows they have comparable, quality results. If the quality of a competitor's work does not match our expertise, we will offer a fair rate, but may not be able to beat it. In these instances, we will explain that you get what you pay for, and will not mind if you choose to work with a competitor due to having a small budget and lowered expectation of results during that time of your music career.

How can I ensure the privacy of my work if recording with Sounds By Lio, working on consulting plans, or sending projects for mix, master, etc.?"Sounds By Lio has confidentiality fine-print pre-written into our email signature that guarantees privacy of your documents and files for each email exchange. If exchanging documents or files in person or with another transfer method outside of email (such as Airdrop) you can request a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). We have standard NDA forms on hand. The privacy of our clients documents, files, and contact information will be protected to the best of our abilities at all times. We pay for security services and have surveillance at our offices. Sounds By Lio agrees not to release or distribute any of your music or projects, unless we are given permission via contract to do so. Sounds by Lio commits to not selling any contact information to other companies.

Where does vocal recording occur?Our studio is located in the Arts District of Downtown Las Vegas, NV. Submit an inquiry to schedule a call. Once you session is booked, you'll be sent address, parking information and a reminder of you appointment.

How long will it take to receive my beats upon purchase?Files will be sent in apx. 24 hours or less.

When I purchase a custom beat how can I ensure exclusivity?When we send your purchased file to you, it will be accompanied by an agreement. This contract will ensure your rights to legally use the instrumental. We have 3 types of purchases you can make; a basic license, premium licence, and an exclusive purchase. Lower tier purchases will be sold at a more affordable price point and will be allowed for your own profit for up to 2000-3000 distributed copies or 500,000 streams. For a higher price, you can purchase full exclusive rights to the beat. More information on terms and conditions can be found on Beatstars.

How can I guarantee my DJ shows up the right day/time?You will have a pre-meeting or phone call with the DJ prior to your event. During the event we will discuss the date of your event, times needed, and any special request regarding your music (i.e. special request, genre preferred, discussion around explicit lyrics, etc). Post-meeting you will be sent a recap of our conversation with all details in writing. This agreement document will be signed by both parties.

When is payment due for DJ bookings?When booking, Lio or a team member, will be asking you to put up an apx. 20% refundable deposit down (usually 30 day period). If an event is cancelled after the refundable period, your deposit will be held as a credit for your next event. Final payment is typically due on the day of the event. Final payments are non-refundable.

What program/DAW will I need to be working in to receive a mix with Sounds By Lio?Mixing will be done in Logic Pro X. For those working out of other DAW's, we can still work with you! You will simply need to save each individual track within your project and send all stems to us in a singular zip folder or folder transfer (i.e. WeTransfer, Dropbox, etc). If you need assistance with this process, we can do a scheudled video screenshare and assist you with the process.

How long will it take to get my mix back?Your mix will get back to you within 3-5 days of us receiving it. Expedited work may cause for a small additional fee.

Will I be eligible for full refund if I am not content with my mix?Payment will be taken during the exchange of your track file. Once received, your payment will be non-refundable. We will continue to mix down your song, sending multiple versions by request, until you're satisfied with your final product.

How long will it take to get back my mastered track?Your master will get back to you within 3-5 days (or earlier) of us receiving your file. Expedited work may cause for a small additional fee.

Are lessons in person or virtual?Lessons can be done virtually or in person via Zoom. In-person lessons are preferred if you are located in Las Vegas.

How long are lessons?Songwriting, producing, and DJ lessons will require 6 lessons total for quality results. This is what our minimum curriculum evolves around. Clients can purchase 2 at a time, but will receive a discount if booking all 6 lessons at once. If you are booking your lessons far out, you will be required to do a percentage of your overall quote as a non-refundable deposit. Lessons will be 2-hours per session.

What kind of consulting do you do?Our expertise is as follows: Music Distribution (getting onto Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, GooglePlay, Deezer and more) Publishing (owning rights to your song so you can earn if it's picked up by movies, TV shows and more) Music Videos (sourcing a film provider, assisting with screenwriting and set design ideas, playing a co-director role and coaching film provider to your bring video idea to life) Concerts and Tours (we have planned, promoted, and operated over 150+ successful shows with independent artist and large artist such as Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, Migos, Troyboi, Chris Lake, Gunna, Snakehips, Amine, and more) Marketing plans (social media, email campaigns, and tangle assets) Shows and Stage Presence (teaching the art of communication with the crowd, bringing energy to a room, and usage of stage space)

What steps are involved in my consolation?Consulting will require an in-person or phone meeting to identify your needs, whether it be marketing, tour/concert needs, or distribution techniques. Our initial call will be free. Your second meeting will reveal a plan of action for both short and long-term success. A preview of the plan will be revealed for free, but will require payment to get started on execution and next steps. Fees will vary upon length of your plan and quantity of additional consultation sessions needed. While we wish the absolute best for all of our clients, consultation plans do not guarantee success without proper execution on your end as the artist. We respect our clients and the industry. All plans will be driven by experience of our internal team and/or partnered experts. If we do not feel capable of assisting your needs, we will kindly ask you to seek consultation elsewhere versus putting you in a position to fail.
